You can bring your bike right in! By using “the cycle train” operated by Joshin Dentetsu Railway.
You can enjoy the mountains of Nishijoushu while cycling from Shimonita Station to Kozu Farm.
And also the mountains including Mt. Arafune, small villages scattered around, the World Heritage Arafune Wind Cave, and hot springs on the way back.

Using the old Route 254, there are many places to visit such as small villages scattered around, Lake Arafune, Mt. Arafune including the Matterhorn of Nishijoushu, Mt. Ozawa, the remains of the Shimonita War, and a one-day hot spring facility (Arafune no Yu).

It is also a great place to train for hill climbing. If you have the stamina, you can climb further from Kozu Farm to the border of the prefecture for a spectacular view.
