Abuta Fukujusō Park

Nestled at the foot of Mt. Myōgi, the Abuta Fukujusō Park is located on the terraced slopes of the Nakakosaka and Abuta areas. The former rice paddies are lovingly maintained by the “Abuta Fukujusō Preservation Society,” transforming 1.5 hectares of land into a park where visitors can enjoy Fukujusō (Adonis flowers) and about 1,000 red plum trees.

In this peaceful satoyama (countryside) landscape, the vivid colors of the park—bright yellow Fukujusō blossoms and red plum blossoms—announce the arrival of spring.
