About the Event

Due to the impacts of a declining and aging population, it has become increasingly difficult to pass on the many traditional cultural practices preserved throughout Shimonita Town to future generations.

In response, the Traditional Culture Preservation Executive Committee was established in 2016 by volunteers involved in local festivals. Its mission is to safeguard these cultural treasures, connect them to the future, and share their unique charm with a wider audience.

With the support of numerous performing groups and local residents, we are pleased to present the 8th Traditional Culture Showcase Performance this year. We warmly invite you to visit the venue and experience the rich traditions that can only be found here. We look forward to welcoming you.
