Abuda Fukujusō Flower Park

Abuda Fukujusō Flower Park

The cheerful harbinger of spring in Shimonita, Fukujusō (Adonis amurensis), blooms into small golden-yellow flowers when bathed in sunlight.
In this garden, lovingly maintained by local volunteers, slopes are beautifully adorned with fukujusō and red plum blossoms. Visitors enjoy leisurely walks through the satoyama landscape and photography, making it a popular seasonal attraction.

Nearby are two of Japan’s Three Great Scenic Wonders, Mount Myōgi and Gunma Prefectural Forest Park Sakura-no-Sato, allowing visitors to fully experience the charm of spring in Shimonita.
