Free Admission Announcement During Renovation Work at the World Heritage Site “Arafune Wind Cave”

Renovation Work on the Visitor Pathway and Related Areas

As part of the maintenance project in the Arafune Cold Storage Zone, renovation work will be carried out on the visitor pathway and related areas.

Due to the construction, entry will be prohibited between Wind Cave No. 1 and Wind Cave No. 3 starting from September 1, 2025 (Reiwa 7), to ensure visitor safety.

Accordingly, admission will be free from September 1 to November 30, 2025.

During this period, the Cold Air Experience Hall and the site of the guard station will remain open to visitors as usual.
